is the largest & most experienced licensed Terminal Operator ,
Stevedoring, Port handling & equipment Company in the Port of St Maarten, providing
24 hours a day Stevedoring services to almost 74% of ALL Lo/Lo & Ro/Ro Container Shipping Lines,heavy duty equipment and breakbulk Shipping Lines calling the port of St Maarten since 1983.
Our Container Terminal Equipment fleet consist of our brand new FERRARI Reach stackers, SISU, TEREX and Taylor Stackers/Toploaders, Empty container handlers, Forklifts, Yard mules plus our Gottwald HK260E 100 Tons Container crane participation.
In addition to LO/LO and RO/RO container vessels, St. Maarten Shipping & Stevedoring NV for over 23 years has also successfully handled the majority of all Heavy Lifts & Project cargo destined for St. Maarten and surrounding islands.
In December 2007 and January 2008 ,6000 Tons of Steelpipes, steelbars, sheet piles, heavy duty Port Contruction equipment were succesfully discharged, staged and transported to the consignee(s) by SSS.
In January 2008 another brand new 2008 Ferrari 478 was added to SSS existing Reach stackers fleet.

St Maarten Shipping & Stevedoring Nv owns and operates a fully staffed equipment repair facility and in addition to other local and regional repair services, has been awarded the contract to repair and maintain CMA-CGM 's extensive 20 / 40 FT chassis fleet used in their North Caribbean/Leeward Islands Ro/Ro Line services.
Our professional and experienced staff continues to guarantee comprehensive maintenance service programs on behalf of our principals.
